Did you know that September 9th is NATIONAL TEDDY BEAR DAY?  And, what better day to celebrate with a late Sunday afternoon Teddy Bear "TEA PARTY" for children!

P.A.T.H. is inviting up to 50 children (through ticket sales) ages 3+ with accompanying parent/s to attend this super fun and super special Teddy Bear themed Fundraising Event. 

This hour and a half event is being hosted and catered by the Corte Madera BOOK PASSAGE and Bookstore Cafe.  Children are encouraged to bring their own favorite teddy bear for pics, treats and eats*; teddy bear book storytelling by BOOK PASSAGE staff; temporary teddy bear tattoo applications; teddy bear goody bag take-aways, balloons, books, art... and more!  Teddy bear themed baskets will also be available per suggested donation for raffle tickets. 



WHEN:  Sunday; September 9th  3-4:30pm (Officially NATIONAL TEDDY  BEAR DAY

WHY: To raise funds to purchase brand new teddy bears to give out to children of incarcerated individuals. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to benefit KIDS COOKING FOR LIFE.

P.A.T.H. is collaborating with CAN DO Clemency Teddy Bear Care Program (Malibu, CA) and KIDS COOKING FOR LIFE (San Rafael, CA).  The San Bruno MARINE TOYS FOR TOTS" will help us distribute the teddy bears at various State prisons prior to  the winter holidays. 

NOTE:  Tickets are sold through Brown Paper Tickets and not available through the BOOK PASSAGE bookstore. Ticket cost is $35 and will be available for sale as of June 29th here.
